A physical point of contact dedicated to Sustainability placed in each faculty, at hand for every member of the university.

Digital Features
This set of features is designed to promote the involvement of the sustainability community at HvA & UvA, and is a suggested addition to the current Reset, future Green Office platform.
Designed to empower the sustainability network as a hub, it helps users to perform different tasks related to sustainability within the university. Ultimately, allowing the community to build on each other's work with the goal of having a more tangible impact on sustainability projects in the university.

Sustainability Week
Community engagement is all about productive conversations.
With a semestral collective event on Sustainability at the university, every member, from students to staff, can come together to explore and exchange their ideas and knowledge on the topic.

To have an effective communication of the Sustainability efforts within the university, alongside the previous concepts, a set of strategic recommendations was prepared.

HvA has the ambition of becoming the most sustainable university, adhering to the Amsterdam goal of being the frontrunner in the circular economy by 2024. As so, the way sustainability is communicated plays a crucial on achieving that goal.

The university leadership and management should have a clearer and inclusive communication of goals, commitments, and current efforts on sustainability.
